Baked Cauliflower – Easy Tandoori Cauliflower

Baked Cauliflower is a healthy vegetarian dish as it is not fried it is baked. It is a low-calorie dish to serve in any mealtime or occasion. Baked Cauliflower is the easiest and tastiest way to prepare cauliflower. Hope you like this dish as you did like my previous one Kaju Curry.

Ingredients:-

  • One Whole – Cauliflower
  • Three – Onions, And Potatoes (Large)
  • Three Tablespoons – Oil, And Tandoori Masala
  • One Cup – Hung Curd
  • Two Teaspoons – Red Chili Powder, And Coriander Powder
  • One Teaspoon – Red Kashmiri Chili Powder, Chat Masala Powder, and Garam Masala Powder
  • Half Teaspoon – Turmeric Powder
  • Two Tablespoons – Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • Salt As Required
  • A  Handful of Chopped Green Coriander Chopped
  • Lime Juice

Directions:-

  1. Wash the cauliflower and remove the stem and leaves, while keeping the flower whole.
  2. Fill a large pot halfway with water and bring it to a boil.
  3. Once the water starts boiling, carefully place the cauliflower and blanch for five minutes.
  4. Strain and let the cauliflower cool down a bit.
  5. Mix together curd, a tablespoon of oil, both red chili powders, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, Tandoori masala, chaat masala powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt to taste.
  6. Blend it all well.
  7. Once the cauliflower is cool, rub the curd mixture all over the cauliflower, potatoes, and onions.
  8. Let it sit for ten minutes.
  9. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  10. Brush an ovenproof skillet or roasting pan large enough to fit the cauliflower with oil.
  11. Place the cauliflower in the skillet along with onions and potatoes and brush with oil.
  12. Bake for 20-25 minutes till the top is golden brown and the cauliflower is cooked through.
  13. In the middle of the baking brush once more with oil.
  14. Squeeze lime juice and sprinkle coriander leaves on top.
  15. Serve the baked Cauliflower hot.
