Tea is the most popular beverage in the world. You can make it in different ways with herbs and with some spices. Here I bring some recipes for you hope you like it as you did like my previous recipe Arbi Patta Curry.
SAFFRON TEA
Ingredients:-
- Two liters – Water
- One Gram – Saffron
- Two Tablespoons – Sugar
- Handful Of Mint Leaves
- Two Wedges Lemon
- Tea Leaves
Directions:-
- Bring two liters of water to boil.
- Put the tea leaves and saffron in a large teapot.
- Pour the boiling water over tea leaves and saffron and leave it for a few minutes.
- Now strain the liquid and pour into cups.
- Add sugar as desired.
- Serve with a mint sprig and lemon slice.
WITH LEMONGRASS
Ingredients:-
- Half Cup – Lemongrass
- Four Cups Of Water
- One-Eighth Cup Of Sugar
Directions:-
- Heat a saucepan filled with water.
- Bring to boil and add lemongrass.
- Remove from heat and keep aside for ten to fifteen minutes.
- You can decrease or increase the time according to how strong you want the taste.
- Now remove the lemongrass and add sugar to taste.
- Stir well and serve hot.
KAHWA
Ingredients:-
- Six Cups – Water
- Fifteens – Almond
- Five – Green Cardamoms
- Two Inch – Cinnamon
- Two Tablespoons – Sugar
- One Pinch Saffron
- Two Teaspoons – Green Tea
Directions:-
- Grind the green tea, cinnamon, and cardamoms together to a coarse powder.
- Boil the water over medium heat.
- Add the ground green tea mixture and stir gently.
- Add saffron strands and simmer for five to ten minutes over low heat.
- Strain this mixture into a pot.
- Add sugar and stir well.
- Serve.
WITH TURMERIC
Ingredients: –
- One Cup – Tea
- Six – Sweet Basil Leaves
- One Teaspoon – Sugar
- One Teaspoon – Turmeric
- Three – Ice Cubes
Directions:-
- Add the turmeric powder and crush the basil leaves on a flat surface.
- In a cup, mix the brewed tea, half teaspoon turmeric powder, crushed basil leaves, and sugar thoroughly.
- Take a strainer and strain the liquid into a cup to remove the crushed leaves.
- Add the ice cubes and serve immediately.
