Coconut Pancakes – Sweet + Healthier Pancakes

Coconut Pancakes are totally healthy, light, and delicious pancakes made with coconut water, whole wheat flour, and aromatic cardamom. People likes this pancakes as it is vegan free and gluten free. Hope you like this coconut pancakes recipe as you did like my previous recipe Mushroom Curry.

Ingredients For Coconut Pancakes:-

  • Forty Grams – Brown Sugar
  • 200 Mililiter – Water
  • 200 Grams – Wheat Flour
  • Fifty Mililitre – Fresh Coconut Water
  • Fifty Grams – Fresh Grated Coconut
  • Four – Cardamom Cloves(seeds crushed)
  • One-Fourth Teaspoon – Salt
  • One Teaspoon – Baking Powder


  1. In a Pan, add the sugar and water then heat to melt the sugar and create a syrup.
  2. Leave this syrup to cool.
  3. In a bowl, add the flour, grated coconut, crushed cardamom seeds, salt, and baking powder. Stir to mix all the ingredients well.
  4. Pour in the coconut water and melted sugar syrup to make up 250 mililiter of liquid and mix everything with the help of spoon to form a thick batter.
  5. Heat a non-stick frying pan without any oil.
  6. Pour one laddle ful of batter into the middle of the pan.
  7. Cover with a saucepan lid and cook the batter on medium heat for two to three minutes.
  8. Little holes will appear all over the top and it will become dry, remove the lid and flip with a spatula. Cook the other side until lightly browned.
  9. Make all the pancakes like the same method.
  10. Enjoy these tasty coconut pancakes with yogurt, with a sprinkle of grated coconut.
