- 160 grams butter soft
- 110 grams sugar
- 4 pieces medium eggs (use soaked chickpea water as Egg alternative)
- 250 grams wheat flour
- 50 grams cornstarch (alternatively increase flour quantity to 300g)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 270 milliliters milk (coarse)
Instructions
Preparation of Belgium style waffle
- Beat the softened butter with the sugar until fluffy, add the eggs one by one and stir in carefully each time.
- Mix flour with cornstarch, baking powder and salt. Stir in alternately with the milk. Use as much milk as necessary until the batter falls from the spoon with difficulty tearing – a little more liquid than a normal batter for cakes.
- Heat the waffle iron and grease it a bit if necessary. Put about 3 tablespoons of batter in the center of each, close and bake for 1.5-2.5 minutes until golden brown.
