Black Bean Burgers is a delicious recipe packed with veggies and spices, topped with avocado, red onion, and tomato slices and tahini sauce. Hope you like the recipe as you did like my previous recipe Turmeric Noodle Soup.
Ingredients For Black Bean Burgers:-
One Tablespoon – Flax Seed Meal+Three Tablespoons Water To Make One Flax Egg
One Teaspoon – Olive Oil
Half – Red Onion(finely diced)
Three Cloves – Garlic(minced)
One Large – Carrot(shredded)
450 Grams – Black Beans
One-Fourth Cup – Oat Flour
One Teaspoon – Cumin
Half Teaspoon – Garlic Powder
One Teaspoon – Chilli Powder
One-Fourth Teaspoon – Paprika
One-Fourth Teaspoon – Salt
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Garlic Tahini Sauce
Two Tablespoons – Tahini
Half Tablespoon – Fresh Lemon Juice
Two To Three Tablespoons – Warm Water
Four – Whole Wheat Buns
One – Avocado(sliced)
Slices Of Red Onion
Mix flaxseed meal and water in a small bowl and place in the fridge for five minutes.
In a medium heat place a large pan and add one teaspoon of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add in onion, garlic, and carrot; saute for five minutes or until onions are transparent and carrots begin to soften a bit.
Transfer to a large bowl and stir in the spices: cumin, garlic powder, chilli powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
By using a food processor, blend black beans until well blended and just a few bean chunks remain.
Transfer to the bowl with the veggies and then stir in the flax egg and the oat flour.
Taste, adjust seasonings and add additional and pepper if needed.
Divide mixture into four patties. Put on a plate and cover with plastic wrap. Place in the fridge for ten to fifteen minutes.
While the burgers are in the fridge firming up, make the garlic tahini sauce by mixing together the tahini, garlic, lemon juice, water, and salt in a small bowl.
After thirty minutes, place a large non-stick pan over medium flame and generously spray the pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Add the patties and cook four to five minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
Place the patties on buns with tomato, avocado, red onion slices, and tahini sauce.
Serve with potato fries or a salad.
