Blueberry Vanille jam

I must admit, I am actually a big fan of nutella, especially in the morning, but nothing beats the taste of a blueberry Vanilla Jam . The Rich vanilla envelops the plump, sun-kissed blueberries, creating a tapestry of vivid colors and mouthwatering flavors that entice the palate and the senses.
But from time to time, I also like a bun, neatly painted with delicious jam. The varieties of the buns at the supermarket are usually so big that I can’t decide at all.

Most of my close friends knows that it takes a lot of time for me to decide, and it’s not my fault y’know the buns are just so good.

In addition, the homemade jam made by my Grandma is the most delicious anyway.

So one day I said to myself, ‘Making my own jam can’t be so hard; it’s definitely worth attempting!’ And, of course, I decided to try it out, using the internet as my guide.”

EXCERPTS FROM MY COOKING ESCAPADES OF THE RECIPE

So there I was in my kitchen, staring at a container of vanilla extract and a mound of blueberries that gave me the impression of winking. “Why not embark on a wild, fruity adventure?” crossed my mind as my culinary senses perked up.

Imagining I had a mustache (which I never really have, but in my cooking dreams I do), I decided to transform this ordinary morning into The Great Blueberry Vanilla Caper! Like any self-respecting cook-superhero, I put on my reliable apron and prepared to take over the kitchen.

As I threw the blueberries into the pot and liberally splashed it with vanilla extract, they turned into my naive sidekicks. I may have even hummed a superhero anthem with a kitchen theme; it’s all a blur at this point.

I couldn’t help but launch into a dramatic monologue as the mixture bubbled away: “Look, the birth of the Blueberry Vanilla Wonder-Jam! The hero you never realized your breakfast table needed!” Who’s to say? I’m pretty sure the parsley in the corner rolled its eyes.

Showing off my creation, a jar of jam so magical it could make a pancake cry with happiness, required a flourish that could rival that of a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat (or a blueberry out of the refrigerator). I even performed a victory dance that could have passed for a jig. But it was a victory jig in my kitchen.

Right now, With my triumphant jar in hand, I took a seat to enjoy the results of my hard work. I crowned myself the day’s culinary champion with every spoonful.

And so my culinary adventure came to an end, taking with it a story of fruity rebellion, laughter, and the beginning of the fabled Blueberry Vanilla Caper. 🍇✨🦸‍♂️

  • 1 kg Blueberries
  • 500 grams
  • gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions in making Blueberry Vanille Jam

  • Alternatively, this can also be done in boiling water, I found it in the oven less cumbersome but this is certainly a matter of taste.
  • Wash the blueberries and let dry on a clean kitchen towel.
  • Then put into a large pot. The vanilla paws slit longitudinally, scratch the vanilla marrow with a knife and put it into the pot together with the gelling sugar and the lemon juice.
  • Bring it to the boil with stirring and then let it boil for five minutes in a bubbling manner, always stirring well further so that the jam does not burn.

Further Instructions

  • To test whether the jam is ready, simply give a tablespoon of jam on a small plate. If it doesn’t get stuck within a few seconds, however, no longer than eight minutes.
  • If you like the jam nicely soft and without larger pieces, the bar mixer is now used quickly, simply brush it up to the desired consistency, so be careful not to splash with the hot sauce.
  • Now only with the help of a funnel fill the jam in jars with screw caps and release about one centimeter at the top. It is really important to work as clean as possible and to glue neither exposed edge nor lid.
  • Now quickly let the lid on it and cool the jam. Ready!

TIPS:
On all the pictures I saw on the Internet, the jam is well upright and not on the cover as it is with Grandma. This makes sense, however, for a longer storage, since by turning around the air escapes from the jam and it is longer durable. Maybe at first glance a little funny, but for me just typical Omimarmelade and a super tip.
