After a long day, everyone would want to grab a drink and refresh. Mocktails are just the way to do it if you are not someone who would prefer sodas or a cold drink. These refreshing mocktails also make a great party drink. However, If you do not want to serve alcoholic beverages at your party, Mocktails are a really great way to go.
They are better than your regular cold drinks and sodas and do not really take long to make. Today I am going to show you how to make 4 different assorted mocktails. Traditional cocktails can cost you around 700-1000 rupees per serving at you nearest resto-bar and a mocktail would cost you around 250-500 per serving. We can make these party drinks at home for a fraction of the price we will pay at the restaurant.

- 1 Cocktails shaker
Ingredients
Chocolate Martini
- 1 Cup Cold Milk
- ¼ Cup Chocolate Syrup
- 1 tbsp Corn Syrup
- 1 tbsp Chocolate Sprinkles
- Ice
Virgin Mojito
- ½ Cup Fresh Mint
- 2 tbsp Lime Juice
- 2 tbsp Simple Syrup
- 1 ½ glasses Soda or sparkling water
Non-alcoholic Mimosa
- 1 glass Orange Juice
- 1 glass Ginger Ale
Lime Ricky
- ½ Cup Simple Syrup
- 5 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 ½ glass Soda
Arnold Palmer
- ½ glass Lemonade
- 2 ½ glasses unsweetened iced tea
Instructions
Chocolate Martini
- Firstly, combine milk, 1/4 cup chocolate syrup, corn syrup, and ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Now, pour some of the chocolate syrup onto a small plate and some of the chocolate sprinkles onto another small plate.
- Next, dip the rim of each glass in the chocolate syrup and then dip the rim in the chocolate sprinkles. Fill each glass to the top with the chocolate mocktail
- Best served cold.
Virgin Mojito
- Now, fill the cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold.
Non-alcoholic Mimosa
- Mimosa is a 2 ingredient mocktail.
- First add ½ glass of orange juice and then add ½ glass of ginger ale.
- Mix it with a long stirred and enjoy cold.
Lime Ricky
- Firstly add, 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice to the glass.
- Next, add ½ cup of soda and then add ½ tbsp of simple syrup
- Then add some ice and enjoy cold!
Arnold Palmer
- Arnold Palmer is also a 2 ingredient drink where you add 1 part of lemonade to 3 parts of iced tea.
- Add the ingredients in the mentioned ration and shake it in a cocktail shaker.
- Best served cold.

- Now, fill the cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold.
- Place ice into a glass, and strain in the drink. Top off the glass with soda. Next, add ice and garnish with additional mint leaves.
Non-alcoholic Mimosa
- Mimosa is a 2 ingredient mocktail.
- First add ½ glass of orange juice and then add ½ glass of ginger ale.
- Mix it with a long stirred and enjoy cold.
Lime Ricky

Tips
We can observe that for any mocktail, we use something called a simple syrup. A simple syrup is nothing but an sugar syrup people add in cocktails and mocktails. Here is how you make a simple syrup.
How to make simple syrup?
Firstly, take 1 cup of sugar. Use powdered sugar. However, If you do not have powdered sugar you can just blend the normal sugar you use everyday. Next, add the sugar onto a saucepan and add 1 cup of water. Melt and stir till it forms a thick syrup. Most importantly, Store it in an air-tight bottle and use it when needed.
How to make lemonade?
Lemonade is refreshing cold drink that most Indians enjoy during summers.There are many ways and varieties to make a lemonade. However, here is a quick and easy way to make simple lemonade.
Firstly, Take 5 tbsps of lemon juice. Then, to a glass of water add 1 tbsp of sugar. Stir the mixture until the sugar is totally dissolved in the water. Then, add the lemon juice into the glass and mix well. It is best served cold.
Conclusion
Cocktails are a non-alcoholic party drinks that are best served cold. However, you can always stir up these drinks by adding alcohol to it. For example, If you add vodka to virgin, It will make Mojito. Mojito is a classic cocktail and a great party drink. Although it is advised that you make these cocktails or mocktail before hand and refrigerate it for better experience. To note, Cocktails are not safe for kinds under the age of 18 to consume as they might have an intoxicating effect. However, mocktails are cold drinks that are safe to serve and super easy to make. One of my favourite mocktail to make during summers is the virgin mojito.
