Ingredients for Tofu Scramble Recipe

  • 200 grams Tofu (Vegeterians can use Cottage cheese (paneer))
  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 medium Tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic (finely chopped)
  • ½ inch Ginger (finely chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin Seed (jeera)
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 pinch Dry Chilli (Lal Mirch) (powder)
  • 1 Green Chilli (finely chopped)
  • tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Garam Masala (pav bhaji masala could also be used)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • salt (as per taste)

  • Take 200g tofu scramble it, keep it aside

How to cook Tofu Scramble

  • Take deep frying pan, heat oil at low flame.
  • Add cumin seed, allow it to turn brown.
  • Now add chopped green chilli, ginger and garlic to it.
  • Allow to cook for few seconds.
  • Add finely chopped onion and cook it it turns translucent.
  • Later, add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till it release water.
  • Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chilli powder and masala, stir properly until get mixed.
  • Take a potato masher, mash the above mixture till it turns into smooth paste.
  • Add scrambled tofu and stir well.
  • Season with salt and sauté 3-4 minutes.
  • Add finely chopped coriander leaves and stir them.
  • Lastly, now serve the Tofu Scramble with bread or rotis or as side dish with rice recipes.

Notes

Taste salt in Tofu Bhurji at end, you might need to add some.
Masala (Spice) could be garam masala or pav bhaji masala.

  • Secondly, take deep frying pan, heat oil at low flame.
  • Add cumin seed, allow it to turn brown.
  • Now add chopped green chili, ginger and garlic to it.
  • Allow to cook for few seconds.
  • Afterwards, Add finely chopped onion and cook it it turns translucent.
  • Later, add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till it release water.
  • Furthermore, sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder and masala, stir properly until get mixed.
  • Next, take a potato masher, mash the above mixture till it turns into smooth paste.
  • No sooner add scrambled tofu than stir well.
  • Furthermore, season with salt and sauté 3-4 minutes.
  • Add finely chopped coriander leaves and stir them. 
  • Lastly, now serve the Tofu Scramble with bread or rotis or as side dish with rice.
