Ingredients for Corn fritters

  • 3 cups Corn Kernels
  • 1 tablespoon White Sugar
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • ½ tablespoon Salt
  • ¼ tablespoon Black Pepper Powder
  • 2 Eggs


How to make Corn Batter:

  • Take a bowl, mix 3 cups corn kernels, 1 table spoon sugar, 1 cup of flour, 1 table spoon baking powder, ½ table spoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper.
  • Furthermore, break 2 eggs and stir them with heavy cream until it gets well-merged.

How to make Corn Fritters

  • Take a plate with paper towels. Take a sauce pan, add vegetable oil and heat it at medium flame. 
  • Add 2-3 table spoon of the corn batter and let it spread in a circular shape. 
  • Cook the fritters for a period of 2-3 minutes.
  • Flip them and cook them for more 3 minutes to make golden brown. 
  • Transfer the fritters in the plate and add salt and cook again with the batter and also add oil. 
  • Finally, garnish the fritters with scallions and use garlic aioli or sour cream as dips.
