Equipment Required


Ingredients for Mix veggies

  • 2 medium size Carrot (grated)
  • 1 medium Beetroot (grated)
  • 2 Potatoes (boiled & smashed)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • 1 small Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup Sweet Corn (boiled & smashed)

Ingredients for Breadcrumbs

  • 4 pieces White Bread ((any type of bread goes well) )
  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable Oil ((any type of oil goes well) )

Ingredients for Dipping solution

  • 4 tablespoon All Purpose Flour (can be adjusted as per need & consistency)
  • Water (as per requirement)

Frying Fritters

  • 200 ml Vegetable Oil (for deep fry)

Spices for fritters

  • 2 teaspoons Cumin Seed
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 teaspoon dry mango powder (Aamchur) (lemon is alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Green Chilli (finely chopped (optional for non spicy eaters))


Steps For Mix veggies

  • Grate the veggies with help of grater, Veggies such as Carrot, Beetroots and Garlic.
  • Likewise, keep the potato and corn for boiling (Tips : Cut the potato into 4 pieces and add salt to quicker the boiling process.
  • Moreover, cut the remaining veggies such as onions, green chilies and coriander leaves.
  • Once you finish the above task, take a deep pan and heat given quantity of oil on medium flame.
  • After the oil is heated add cumin seeds (jeera) and wait till it turn golden brown.
  • Now, add garlic to it and wait for it to turn golden brown.Now, add garlic to it and wait for it to turn golden brown.
  • Now add onion and chopped green chilies to above prepared tadka of cumin seed and garlic.
  • Later, add remaining grated veggies and cook for sometime.
  • Once the veggies is shallow fried properly, it will look alike picture given below.
  • Afterwards, add boiled and masted potatoes as well as corn to above veggies.
  • Allow it to cook for 2 minutes.
  • Season with salt, spices (chat masala), turmeric and dry mango powder (optional).
  • Cook it for sometime after adding spices then turn off the stove and allow the mixture to cool.
  • Now you can make balls or give any shape to above mixture.

For dipping solution

  • Take all purpose flour in bowl then add water and salt to it.
  • Take care of consistency it shouldn't be too thick or too thin.
  • If consistency is same like above picture then keep it aside or else adjust by adding water and flour for thick and thin respective consistency.

  • Take slices of bread, if it is fresh then toast it else put it in grinder and grind it until it is fine like sand.
  • Take a pan and add breadcrumbs to it on low flame, roast it until it turns golden brown.

  • Moreover, You are ready with all three i.e veggie fritter, flour solution and breadcrumbs. Now, its time to merge all three and make crispy breadcrumbs fritters.

How to Make Breadcrumbs Fritters

  • Next, take a piece of mix veggies fritter and dip it in flour solution.
  • When you find it perfectly wet with flour solution then follow next step.
  • Place the dipped fritter into breadcrumbs and let it get covered from all sides.
  • Repeat the above two steps with all the fritters and place it in clean, dry plate.
  • Now take another deep frying pan or Kadai, pour enough oil to deep fry all the fritters. (you can also cook this in air fryer or shallow fry it).
  • Let the oil gets heat properly, keep it on high flame.
  • Once the oil is heated, now you can add fritters to oil and wait for it to get golden in color.
  • .Flip the side and allow it to be cooked on both side equally. Don't overload the pan.
  • With the help of spider skimmer, take out the well cooked fritters. And allow them to cool on tissues paper or kitchen tissues.
  • Breadcrumbs Fritters, are now read to eat. Serve them with sauce or ketchup. My favorite dip which goes perfectly with it is mayonnaise.


For Fritters dipping solution : Solution should be neither too thin or too thick, just like paste to dip the fritters. Can be adjusted by adding flour/water.
For Breadcrumbs : If your bread is too fresh then heat it lightly in toaster/microwave or pan tp get proper crunch while grinding.
Cooking Fritters : Fritters can be deep fried or swallow fried. Your can use air fryer for less oil consumption.
