    • Now turn on the stove with medium heat.

    • Allow the content to cool.
    • When the mixture is cooled, now add spices such as 1 teaspoon black pepper powder, salt as per taste and 1 tablespoon soy sauce.

Chinese Dumplings Recipe | Homemade momos

        Steps for making dumplings

        • Take a small amount of dough and roll between palms to make a smooth ball.
        • Dust some dry flour on base and above the ball before rolling it with a roller.
        • Note: Dusting flour every time not only prevents dough from sticking on base but also helps to stretch the wrap wider.
        • Stop rolling, once you are satisfied with the size. Make sure it's thin enough to appear little opaque in light.
        • Now place the filling in the wrap with a spoon. Make sure you don't over or under fill it.
        • Note: If you are a beginner then add only 1 medium spoon, or else you can add 1 and half medium spoonfuls of fillings to wrap.
        • Apply some water on the edges before forming its shapes.
        • Note: Applying some water on edges will help the edges to stick better while warping.
        • Begin with gathering the edges on above the other as shown in picture.
        • Note: Don't worry if it doesn't go well, just make sure it's closed properly and twist the mouth of dumplings / momos.
        • Repeat the above step with the remaining dough and fillings to form different shapes of dumplings momos.
